Fabricator Mechanic / Fabricator / Farm Hand – Ipswich – £40,000 + Accommodation The Job A full time, permanent position is available for an experienced and adaptable Mechanic / Fabricator / Farm Hand. The role is primarily workshop based, focusing on maintenance, repair and fabrication, with additional duties in yard operations and occasional tractor driving during busy periods. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual looking for a varied role within a progressive agricultural business. Key Responsibilities Carry out maintenance, servicing, and mechanical repairs on agricultural machinery and equipment Fabricate and modify parts using welding and cutting techniques (MIG/TIG/ARC) Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems Perform gas cutting and general metalworking tasks Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment Support yard operations and supervise activities when required Assist with tractor driving and general farm work during peak periods The Company An established agricultural business offering a diverse and hands on working environment.
