These new posts mark a positive step in strengthening and raising the profile of gynaecology services. They will form part of a new gynaecology leadership team, working alongside professional AHP leads and the wider Divisional AHP leadership team to ensure our services are safe, effective and compassionate care. Person specification Qualifications Masters Level or equivalent experience in advanced practice Non‑medical prescribing course Evidence of continuing professional development Appropriate Teaching Qualification Experience in gynaecology/womens health Knowledge Experience of working in an acute hospital setting Knowledge of the AHP professional development agenda in the NHS Evidence of implementing and managing change using service improvement methodologies to improve services or patient experience Understanding of the principles and practice of performance improvement and key performance indicators Management of staff in line with Human Resource policies and procedures Knowledge of NHS financial principles / process Inc management of AHP service budgets Approaches for providing effective and sustainable AHP clinical services Knowledge of: NHS strategy / policy which impact AHP professional development & education Knowledge of: Strategies to increase research and development in clinical practice Knowledge of: Formal staff consultation process to support service innovation / change Employer certification / accreditation badges You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
