Role Overview Echo Sourcing is a cutting‑edge, fast‑paced design house creating innovative jersey‑focused collections for leading high‑street and e‑commerce brands, with our own state‑of‑the‑art factory, Echotex, and a global network of partners. We are seeking a talented Senior Girlswear Jersey Shape Designer to develop creative, trend‑led, commercially viable shapes across multiple briefs and age ranges, working closely with in‑house graphics, print teams, and clients such as Primark and Tesco Sainsbury’s. Key Responsibilities Design girlswear collections tailored to a range of ages and customer profiles. Research seasonal trends, fabrics, colours, and silhouettes relevant to different market levels. Develop detailed CADs, mood boards, and technical packs for sampling and production. Collaborate closely with the in‑house graphics and print teams, ensuring cohesive, creative collections. Work alongside clients, buyers, and account managers to develop and refine concepts. Use traditional and new digital tools, including AI, to support creative ideas and design development. Source and select fabrics, trims, and finishes that reflect each brand’s aesthetic. Maintain awareness of girlswear fit, proportion, and safety standards. Be commercially aware, ensuring designs balance creativity, practicality, and cost efficiency. Be willing to travel internationally for research and factory visits as required. Requirements Degree/diploma in Fashion Design or equivalent experience. Minimum 8 years’ experience in girlswear design, preferably with Primark experience. Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and familiarity with, or openness to, AI tools. Excellent eye for colour, fabric, and print coordination. Ability to adapt designs to multiple brand aesthetics and price points. Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence liaising directly with clients. Able to work to tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. What We Offer Opportunity to work with leading high‑street and e‑commerce retailers.
