Fire Consultant – Rider Levett Bucknall RLB Application Deadline: 3 December 2025 Department: Built Asset Consultancy Location: Bristol (Hybrid Working) Role Overview: We are currently recruiting for a Fire Consultant with a background in Fire Safety Risk Management and Assurance/Compliance. Responsibilities Carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards Deliver value for money in all circumstances Conduct fire risk assessments across a variety of property types, including residential, healthcare, custodial, education and commercial Carry out fire integrity / compartmentation surveys, identify breaches, propose remedial repairs and prepare specifications and designs Provide quality & technical monitoring on construction projects Act as a fire safety advisor to assist clients with their property portfolio Have knowledge of Approved Document B, Health Technical Memorandum 05-02, Building Bulletins and relevant British Standards Review contractors’ proposals on construction projects and provide comments on suitability for the intended purpose Candidate Profile Positive, customer‑focused, commercially minded and passionate about fire safety.
