Finance Officer

Working Hours 30 hours per week, 08:30 - 15:00 with 0.5 hour lunch. Start and end times are flexible for the right candidate. 40 weeks per year. Position Overview Southwick C of E Primary School is looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic School Finance / H&S / Premises Administrator to join their team. Working as a member of staff within our Trust you will be a part of a team and play an active role in ensuring the learning and development of all our young people. Interview & Start Date Interviews are expected to be held on Monday, 15th December 2025. Start date is Monday, 19th January 2026 or before if possible. Roles & Responsibilities Undertake the financial and administrative work for the school and support the Headteacher and Trustees in maintaining financial control. Ensure the servicing, maintenance and record‑keeping of buildings, contracts, risk assessments and other resources. Prepare the draft budget with the Headteacher and Central Team while monitoring income and expenditure against the budget. Supervise and manage kitchen and cleaning staff in liaison with the school. Possess the knowledge and skills to undertake a range of office and finance tasks, including word processing, database and interpersonal/telephone skills.
