JOB TITLE: Butcher LOCATION: Long Eaton, NG10 HOURS: Five days per week, 08:00 - 16:00, including one weekend day PAY: £14.00 - £18.00 per hour (DOE) Frontline Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a high-quality farm shop in the heart of Long Eaton. Our client specialises in locally sourced boxed meats and traditional carcass butchery. We are seeking skilled butchers who take pride in their craftsmanship, customer service, and presentation. Pay & Benefits £14.00 - £18.00 per hour, depending on experience Company events and team socials Free or discounted food Employee discount On-site parking Temp to perm opportunities for a right candidate The Role Prepare, cut, and display meats to the highest standards, performing both half-cuts and full carcass breakdowns Maintain exceptional food hygiene, stock rotation, and traceability records Deliver outstanding counter service, advising customers, portioning, and upselling products Assist with ordering, receiving deliveries, and ensuring consistent stock levels Support daily setup and clean‑down of the butchery area Work collaboratively with the team to maintain smooth operations and efficient preparation Requirements Experienced butcher with a background in retail or traditional butchery Strong knife skills and carcass breakdown experience essential Excellent customer service and communication skills Knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP, and allergen controls Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently when required Ability to lead butchery assistants Part‑time and full‑time positions available (up to 3 roles) Apply today and start work as early as next day Frontline Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer and acts as an employment business for this vacancy. #J-18808-Ljbffr
