Join to apply for the Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer role at JCT600 Ltd Overview As a Field-Based Engineer within our Properties Team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety, quality, and compliance of our sites. Your week will be varied - from conducting on-site testing and inspections to producing detailed reports and preparing for upcoming projects. You'll enjoy a mix of fieldwork and flexible hybrid working, supported by access to one of our regional sites. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical testing and inspection on in-house installations and complete EICRs and EVC annual tests with accuracy and detail Diagnose electrical faults and recommend effective remedial actions to minimise actions Ensure all work complies with BS7671 and company safety standards Maintain accurate documentation and certification for all testing and inspection activities Liaise with internal departments, site managers and maintenance teams to coordinate testing schedules and access Support planned and reactive maintenance, including minor electrical works where required What We're Looking For We're looking for a skilled Electrical Test & Inspection Engineer with a passion for safety, quality, and excellence. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently across multiple sites and producing accurate reports. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) City & Guilds 2377 (Portable Appliance Testing) Proven experience in electrical testing and fault finding within commercial environments Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent communication skills and ability to produce clear, concise reports ECS/CSCS card Experience in carrying out remedial works following EICRs Familiarity with electrical testing software (e.g., EasyCert, NICEIC Cert Software) IPAF certification for working at height Knowledge of energy efficiency systems and sustainable technologies Experience with EV charger installation and testing, and a basic understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) Why JCT600?
