GENERAL MANAGER

This well-established and thriving materials handing manufacturer is looking for a confident General Manager to lead their successful team at their Mansfield based Office. Reporting into the Managing Director the role offers an attractive salary of up to £60K plus benefits and offers a varied and busy workload.

The General Manager will oversee the effective and successful day to day leadership & management of the companies business activities, functions and communications. .

THE OPPORTUNITY

The General Manager will be responsible for providing support throughout this busy, vibrant business.

Core duties:

* Successfully oversee the daily operations of the business ensuring that all departments are fulfilling the requirements of the business.

* Implementation and communication of strategies and processes designed to grow and further develop the business.

* Ensure the successful development of programmes and processes to pursue targeted goals and objectives.

* Ensure that the financial status of the business is managed effectively and communicated throughout the business as and when required.

* Responsibility for the day to day management, coaching and development of Senior Management Staff.

* Ensure the overall delivery and quality of product offerings to customers are as high as possible whilst remaining within predefined budgets.

* Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports.

* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are fulfilled and maintained.

* Oversee key hiring and talent training / development programs.

* Evaluate and decide on key investments in equipment, infrastructure and services.

* Communicate business strategies and results to the rest of the business.

* Report potential risks, issues and overall results to the Managing Director.

THE PERSON

The successful candidates will be a well-organised, self-driven individual with a good work ethic and a desire to work in a busy working environment. A flair for attention to detail is required with the drive to exceed team-wide targets.
