HGV Class 2 Day Driver Gatwick At EVRi we lead the way in delivery, and always on the lookout for new talent We're market leaders and we invest to keep on growing.All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.We aim to think inside and outside the box, striving to be the carrier of choice for every consumer in the UK.We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 2 Day Drivers (or Cat C Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our new Gatwick depot.Day shifts typically start between 13:00pm- 16:00pm What You'll Do: Our HGV Class 2 drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collecting from Delivery Units (that's where our couriers pick them up).You will typically have a run with 4- 5 drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping the paperwork updated.Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 40 hours a week, but flexible contracts and part time hours are available.Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.What We Can Offer You: £15.56 per hour with an overtime rate of £23.34 per hour once fulltime hours are completed.In addition to our competitive salary, our full time colleagues enjoy a minimum of 32 days' annual leave (including Bank Holidays), 3% contribution into your pension & life assurance.On top of this, we deliver a fantastic range of flexible benefits.Whether it's shopping vouchers, insurance or healthcare we offer some great perks tailored to you as an individual.Essential Skills & Experience Required: · You'll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph.Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.· Excellent communication skills · A safety-first mindset · Reasonable physical fitness Feeling ambitious?
