We support teams working in HR, Primary Health Care, Corporate Services, and many others.SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain programme governance structures, including reporting cycles, decision forums, and escalation routes.Ensure compliance with MOD and departmental programme delivery standards.Develop and maintain integrated programme plans, tracking milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.Monitor progress against delivery targets and provide early warning of risks to schedule or scope.Produce high-quality programme reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders, including National Armament Directorate Group, Commercial & Industry, DE&S, and wider MOD.Essential RequirementsProven experience in programme management within complex, multi-stakeholder programmes, ideally in defence or government.Ability to identify and resolve readiness gaps through proactive analysis and stakeholder engagement.Experience applying lessons learned to improve future service deployments.Experience drafting business cases.Programme performance monitoring and control through governance frameworks.Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.Disability ConfidentAs a member of the Disability Confident Scheme, the MOD guarantees to interview all candidates who have a disability and who meet all the essential criteria for the vacancy.
