Regional Psychologist

Regional Psychologist - (FTC) - Children's Residential Homes - HCPC - Hybrid Compensated at up to £63k per annum plus mileage and an attractive benefits package. Overview: Compass Associates is collaborating with a well‑known Children’s Care provider offering a range of residential and educational support services for children with complex needs, including those with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Emotional Behavioural Difficulties, trauma history and Commercial Sexual Exploitation. We are seeking a Regional Clinical, Forensic, Counselling or Educational Psychologist passionate about working with children, who will deliver direct clinical work, assessment, supervision and training across a designated caseload of children’s homes while working collaboratively with a multi‑disciplinary therapeutic team. Responsibilities: You will provide direct clinical work, assessment, supervision and training across a designated caseload of children’s homes, collaborate with Therapists, Assistant Psychologists and Trainee Psychologists, and receive support from the Clinical Lead and Clinical Director. Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility for a 4‑day condensed contract. 12‑month fixed‑term contract (FTC). Location: This is a hybrid role, working remotely with travel across the adjoining Northern Home Counties of Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire. Travel is typically when needed: 2–3 days remote per week and 2–3 days in‑field, depending on regional needs. Criteria: HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling, Educational or Forensic). Experience working in a Children’s setting such as Education, Residential or CAMHS. Interview Process: Two‑stage process via Teams: first an informal meeting with a Senior Clinician; second a competency‑based session with two Senior Clinicians. Salary and Benefits: Up to £63k per annum (depending on experience and qualifications). 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, accruing with length of service. CPD opportunities.
