Reporting to the Director of Education, the Programme Delivery Lead for  will steward and develop the Foundation’s food allergy national education programme. Allergy School offers free resources to nurseries, primary schools, and out-of-school clubs to improve understanding of food allergies, which affect about two children in every UK classroom. Allergy School is rapidly expanding its reach, continually developing new ideas and resources, and is now extending into secondary and tertiary education. Allergy School will help ensure children and young people living with food allergies are empowered, included and protected within education and out-of-education settings. The postholder will engage with organisations and education institutions to promote and develop our flagship Allergy School programme. They will create, build and maximise relationships across the education sector from early years to tertiary education. They will also liaise with key partners to develop new resources for children and young people, enabling young people to share their experiences of living with food allergies. The role will work alongside everyone in the Foundation to identify and maximise the best opportunities for our education programme. We are ambitious for Allergy School and as a team we want to reach thousands of children, young people, parents/carers and professionals each year. JOB DESCRIPTION The Programme Delivery Lead for Allergy School will have outstanding project management and organisational skills as well as the ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships. Main Duties and Responsibilities Idea generation and delivery: Assist the Director of Education by taking a leading and pro-active role in the development and delivery of Allergy School, our food allergy education programme. Contribute to the continuous development of all aspects of the education programme, sharing new ideas and best practice, developing new resources and keeping existing resources up to date. Develop creative ways to encourage sign up and participation in our education programme. Devise creative ways to share learning and best practice with our education programme participants. Establish a practitioners’ network for our education programme. Identify engagement opportunities to maximise new and existing relationships. Work with young people to co-create aspects of the education programme, securing all necessary parental permissions and follow safeguarding protocols. Support with the co-ordination and event planning of the youth ambassador programme. Develop strategies and activities that reflect the young person’s perspective /student voice.  Relationships management: Engage with key stakeholders to keep them engaged and valued. Identify new programme partners within secondary and tertiary education. Engage senior colleagues to develop strategic partnerships with major bodies and school and club networks. Liaise with, and enlist new nurseries, schools and clubs to our current education programme, and provide them with continuous support in becoming allergy friendly. Seek and maximise opportunities for building relationships with educators and organisations with a view to raising the profile of the education programme and developing it so it is responsive to need. Communications, outreach and engagement: Implement relationship management processes to ensure all education programme partners and participants receive regular communications. Co-design, organise and deliver face to face allergy awareness training where required, as well as prepare presentations and support materials for others to use under direction. Respond to queries about our education programme and communicate regularly with our education programme participants. Ensure our education programme website is kept up to date with revised and new materials and expand on the FAQs in line with feedback from our education programme community. Ensure social media posts are regularly drafted to reflect activities on the education programme, using relevant hashtags and stakeholder mentions and, where applicable, using multimedia. Create campaigns to build a wide network of individuals and educators involved in our education programme. Maintain accurate records of education programme activities, including record of input, output, and impact monitor and periodically evaluate and report on impact. Attending meetings and events to build and develop new relationships. Working as a Foundation team member: Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and participate in team meetings. Objectively review the successes and achievements against agreed objectives, identifying strengths, weaknesses and risks, as well as suggest improvement and prepare a quarterly report for the senior team and board of trustees. Monitor expenditure and keep within the budget allocated to the education programme Use the Foundation’s CRM system to ensure accurate records are maintained and excellent stewardship is monitored and delivered. Represent the Natasha Foundation in organisational meetings as required by the Director of Education, contributing ideas, capturing feedback, and highlighting the work and needs of the education programme.   Some evenings and weekend are involved with time in lieu taken. Depending on experience and qualifications of post-holder, to be receptive to any other duties as may be reasonably required, in line with the needs of the Foundation. PERSON SPECIFICATION To be successful in this role you will have: Essential: Exceptional project management and organisational skills. Minimum 3 years’ experience of planning, managing, and delivering a programme to deadline and within budget. Excellent attention to detail, the ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload. Excellent influencing skills and an ability to foster and maintain successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrable success in developing new partnerships from end-to-end. Excellent written and spoken communication skills, the ability to present information in a clear manner appropriate to the audience and deliver presentations to large audiences. Excellent IT skills including proficiency in MS office products. Ability to work unsupervised, organise own workload, meet deadlines and take the initiative whilst working as part of a strong team. Excellent interpersonal, influencing and organisational skills, with the ability to lead, inspire and motivate individuals. A team player who values collaboration. Pro-active individual, who takes initiative and is results driven. Experience in meeting targets. Experience of working with CRM databases. Willingness to undertake frequent travel within the UK. Desirable: A recognised project management qualification. Experience of managing a team. Experience on managing web and social media content. Experience of working in the education sector.
