Water Treatment Service Chemist – Guildford

Our client is an established national water company, who provides a wide range of water treatment and legionella service to long-standing contracts throughout the UK. Due to recent contract wins, they are currently looking to recruit a hard-working and knowledgeable Water Treatment Service Chemist based in and around the South Central area. The successful candidate will have extensive experience carrying out in-depth chemical analysis of cooling tower, closed system and steam boiler water. Applications from Guildford, Slough, Reading and surrounding areas will be considered.Qualifications & experiencePrevious experience working within a water treatment service chemist role.Extensive experience carrying out the analysis of steam boilers, closed systems and cooling tower waterExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene industry essential.Competent with Microsoft office package.RoleChemical Analysis on Cooling towers, Steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.Maintenance on Domestic and Industrial water systems.Routine monitoring tasks at multiple sector properties.Dosing of systems, closed system flushing, water softener servicing and disinfection of systems.Providing the full range of Service Chemist duties on an array of systems across a variety of sectors.Flushing of Calorifiers.Updating of Site Log Books.Chemical tank cleans, temperature monitoring cooling towers and chlorination – steam boilers.Maintain a professional relationship with clients.In return, this company offers a competitive salary dependent upon experience, company vehicle and many other benefits.Future Select are recruiting in the Water Treatment/Hygiene industry; we work with the best clients and candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the market.
