Mechanical Supervisor - Water Location: Anglian Water Region Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + Van & Fuel Card Lead the delivery of essential water and wastewater projects. Supervising and coordinating all mechanical works on water and wastewater treatment sites. Managing teams of mechanical fitters, welders, and subcontractors to ensure high standards of safety and quality. Overseeing mechanical installations, including pumps, valves, and heavy wastewater equipment. Leading mechanical fitting, pipe fitting, and welding activities on site. Ensuring compliance with HSE standards, client specifications, and framework requirements. Working closely with Project Managers and Engineers to maintain progress and resolve technical challenges. Conducting site inspections and toolbox talks to drive safety and performance. What you’ll bring. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a mechanical discipline. SMSTS or SSSTS and a valid CSCS card. Proven experience supervising mechanical works within the water/wastewater sector. Hands‑on experience in welding, pipe fitting, and mechanical assembly. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, heavy wastewater equipment, and site operations. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Full UK driving licence (van and fuel card provided).
