The RAD is a 12-week structured programme for clients who are abstinent.The County Durham service has recently been rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC and is a great place to work. The service supports adults, children, young people and families across County Durham with drug and alcohol issues. The successful post holder will match our organisational ambition and commitment to provide the highest standards of service delivery across County Durham, engaging with local communities and supporting their priorities.What You’ll DoTo deliver recovery academy pathways and interventions within the service, ensuring provision is integrated and effectiveTo promote a positive, inclusive and therapeutic environment within RAD programme delivery, ensuring client engagement, participation and feedback is prioritised across all delivery elementsTo deliver an evidence based comprehensive psychosocial programme alongside a range of activities that support the 5 Ways to WellbeingManage a service user caseload, reviewing on-going care and treatment and liaising closely with the full range of workers and skills within the multi-agency team, including family members and significant others as appropriateTo Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need :Knowledge of harm reduction approaches in relation to substance misuse (where relevant to post)Understanding of and ability to implement interventions, including brief interventions MI, PSIs, CBT and ITEPCarrying out assessment and recovery planning and risk management plansTo view the full Job description please click thisAbout WaythroughWaythrough was formed in 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship.
