Job Title: Qualified Social Worker Child Protection Location: Barnstaple Hybrid Working: Office & home-based (subject to service needs) Pay Rate: 38 per hour Depending on experience. Working Hours: Monday to Friday 37-hour week. Job Description Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Qualified Social Worker to join its clients Child Protection Team based in Manchester. Responsibilities Conduct assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs. Develop and implement child protection plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams. Undertake statutory visits and maintain accurate up-to-date case records. Intervene in crisis situations to ensure the immediate safety of children. Attend and contribute to child protection conferences core groups and court proceedings. Work closely with families to promote positive change and improve outcomes for children. Liaise with schools health professionals police and other agencies to coordinate support. Provide written reports and evidence for legal proceedings when required. Monitor and review cases regularly to ensure progress and compliance with care plans. Advocate for the rights and welfare of children and young people. Qualifications & Experience Social Work England registration Eligible to work in the UK Hold a full UK driving licence and access to a car Degree level or equivalent in Social Work Minimum 3 years of Post-qualified experience Preferably with knowledge and experience in working with children in care or child protection or children with disabilities.
