Education and Training
£20 - £30 Per hour
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality English and Maths tuition to GCSE level students in an outreach setting (their homes or local libraries)
- Develop individualised learning plans to cater to the specific needs of students
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes
- Engage and motivate students to achieve academic success
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a supportive learning environment
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Specialism in English and Maths at GCSE level
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at GCSE level
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum for English and Maths
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
- Effective classroom management skills
- Passion for education and helping students reach their full potential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
- Experience working with students with learning difficulties or disabilities
- Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or similar
- Part-Time hours, with flexibility required based on student needs
- Work in an outreach setting (learners' homes, local libraries or schools), travelling to different locations
- Collaborative work with school staff, parents, and other stakeholders
- Adherence to safeguarding and child protection policies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
