Cleaner – Part Time – 16.34 hours per week You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across university buildings, classrooms, offices, and communal areas including a sports centre. This is a manual and physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a facilities team. You will be expected to complete cleaning duties to the standards set by management within the time constraints of the campus opening hours. The position supports the university’s commitment to providing a positive and hygienic space for students, staff and visitors. Working Hours The cleaner position is for 16.34 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 9.30 am to 12.46 pm. Qualifications Cleaning experience is essential and an aptitude for hard work, a willingness to learn how to use different equipment and a flexible and adaptable approach are required. Customer service and a willingness to work with students and academic staff is paramount.
