As you can imagine, achieving our overall aim depends on a variety of people with a range of skills, backgrounds, and experiences.For more information about Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service please click the below link :About the OpportunityThe Organisational Assurance Coordinator will provide efficient and effective coordination of organisational assurance activities and information to support the Operational Assurance Manager. You will contribute to continual service improvement across the organisation in line with Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service policy and procedure, helping maintain high standards of performance, governance, and learning.ResponsibilitiesAdminister the organisational assurance process, liaising with suppliers and users of the electronic reporting system.Coordinate and monitor action plans arising from organisational assurance processes, ensuring improvements are tracked through to closure.Coordinate the station assurance process and communicate relevant information ahead of planned visits.Organise operational CPD forums, ensuring resources are prepared in line with the agreed agenda.Maintain and update content on electronic learning platforms.Provide administrative and clerical support to the management team, including arranging meetings, handling calls, greeting visitors, minute taking and decision logging.Analyse, collate and present statistical information and reports for management and governance meetings.Administer organisational records in line with service policy, both digitally and in hard copy.Assist in monitoring expenditure for organisational assurance activity.Coordinate administration of the National Operational Guidance programme, including NOL and JOL environments.Support compliance with Health & Safety requirements.Maintain data in line with GDPR and FOI legislation.Take responsibility for personal development through training and qualifications.Support the Operational Assurance Manager or their deputy to ensure continuity.Undertake any other duties as reasonably required by the Head of Operational Assurance.About YouWe’re seeking proactive and flexible individuals who can thrive in a busy, detail-focused environment and support continual improvement across the organisation.Essential Criteria :Excellent administration, coordination and planning skillsStrong problem-solving abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organised with strong attention to detailAbility to work independently under pressure and meet deadlinesAble to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levelsFlexible and adaptable, with willingness to learn new skillsCompetent in the use of relevant softwareDesirable :Full driving licence and access to a vehicleAdditional InformationThis opportunity is open to internal and external candidates.All communication will be sent via email—please check your inbox regularly.ContactsFor further information, please contact :Tariq KhalilRecruitment TeamApply NowIf you have a passion for supporting organisational improvement and ensuring high standards of organisational performance, we encourage you to apply.
