We are looking for a results-focused Online Trading Manager to take ownership of eCommerce performance and growth. In this role you will drive online sales by maximizing conversion, presenting products compellingly, and optimising the customer journey. You will use data and insights to shape trading decisions, deliver impactful merchandising, and test new ideas to enhance customer experience and commercial outcomes. We want someone who is proactive, customer-centric, and thrives in a fast-moving digital retail environment.ResponsibilitiesOwn the day-to-day trading of the website to deliver sales, margin, and digital KPIsDevelop and implement weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual trade plans aligned with revenue, margin, and EBITDA targetsLead trade meetings to review performance, share insights, and identify future opportunities to drive growthManage weekly and monthly forecasting of sales KPIsCollaborate with Buying team on range availability and product opportunitiesCollaborate with wider Multichannel team to develop and manage the digital trading calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions, and seasonal activityWork cross-functionally with Content, UX/UI, CRM, and Performance Marketing to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and traffic-driving activityMonitor and analyse on-site performance (conversion, bounce rate, AOV, exit rates, category/product/homepage metrics)Manage trading reports and dashboards to track KPIs and share insights with senior leadershipAdopt a data-led approach to decision-making using analytics tools and platforms; experience in GA and Contentsquare is preferredDeliver best-in-class on-site visual merchandising and customer experienceManage and optimise smart search and merchandising platforms to enhance product discovery, personalisation, and relevanceWork closely with UX team to support experimentation activity, interpret results to inform optimisation strategies, and analyse behavioural data to drive continuous improvements across the funnelProven experience in ecommerce trading within a retail or consumer brand environment; experience in furniture retail is preferredStrong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering sales growth, margin improvement, and digital KPIsDeep understanding of ecommerce metrics and analytics, with hands-on experience using GA, Contentsquare, or similar tools; experience managing advanced search and merchandising platforms (e.g., Algolia, Advanced Commerce, Nosto)Strong understanding of digital marketing levers (CRM, performance marketing, content) and how they impact trading performanceExcellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentBenefitsA competitive salary28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)Generous group personal pensionExcellent staff discount #J-18808-Ljbffr
