Role description Our Intern & Placement programme is designed to give you a hands‑on insight into the work we do as a company and to help develop skills and knowledge within your chosen field. Supported by sign‑posted training, the programme is based on Arcadis’ core values, giving you both technical training and support to help you develop personally and professionally whilst with us. You will be exposed to real projects and clients and given a range of experiences to immerse yourself into over the course of a 10–12‑week internship or 12‑month placement. Role accountabilities As a project manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of innovative and sustainable projects across sectors such as infrastructure, buildings, water, and the environment. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will help plan, coordinate, and manage project activities from inception to completion. You’ll be responsible for assisting with project planning, scheduling and budgeting, supporting the development of project plans and timelines and helping to monitor budgets and track progress. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, facilitating clear and effective communication with both team members and clients as well as embracing sustainability and digital innovation. This is an excellent opportunity to learn project management best practices, develop technical and leadership skills, and contribute to projects that make a positive impact on people and the planet. Accepted Degrees: BSc or MSc Construction or Engineering related degree such as Construction Project Management, Civil Engineering or Project Management. We also will consider candidates from a non‑accredited background who show particular interest in our industry. Candidates with courses such as Law, Management and Business related degrees are welcome to apply and be considered for our graduate programme. We will support all candidates who show aspirations to become chartered and professionally recognised through a number of International Organisations i.e. RICS, APM. Qualifications & Experience You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject. You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking and being a team player. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
