IT Technician

Role: IT Technician Salary: £25k-£27k Location: Exeter - Hybrid We’re working with a fantastic organisation who are looking for a Service Delivery Technician to join their in-house IT team, supporting colleagues across the business and helping to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll be the person people turn to when things need fixing, updating or improving - combining your technical know-how with your friendly, proactive approach to deliver great service every time. What you’ll be doing Acting as the first point of contact for IT support queries from colleagues, taking ownership and resolving issues where possible. Supporting and maintaining desktop, server, and cloud systems to keep the business working efficiently. Providing both remote and on-site support, offering clear communication and excellent customer service. Getting involved in system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, particularly across the Microsoft technology stack. Playing your part in ensuring compliance with information security policies and best practice standards. Working closely with the wider IT and project teams to improve systems and introduce new solutions. What we’re looking for Relevant qualifications and/or experience in the IT field Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Office 365 administration and support. A good understanding of Microsoft Teams and unified communications tools. Familiarity with SANs, servers, and network infrastructure. Strong communication skills and a people-first mindset — able to explain tech clearly and patiently to non-technical users.
