About This Role Pennington Choices is seeking a talented and driven Senior Bid Writer to join our dynamic Bid Team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality, persuasive tender proposals that clearly articulate our value proposition and align with our brand tone and standards. You will play a key role in shaping winning bid strategies that contribute directly to our continued growth. Key Responsibilities Creating persuasive, client-focused content for complex bids and proposals. Collaborating with bid managers and subject matter experts to develop winning strategies. Conducting research and gathering evidence to support proposal content. Editing, proofreading, and ensuring the overall quality of submissions. Coaching and mentoring junior bid team members. Assisting bid/no-bid decisions and strategy meetings. Ensuring compliance with ITT requirements and deadlines. Translating complex technical information into clear and engaging content. Managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Maintaining a high standard of attention to detail. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Business, or a related field. Minimum 3 years’ experience as a bid writer in a similar professional services environment. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Strong research and analytical capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Understanding of UK procurement legislation. Full UK driving licence (essential due to office location). Desirable Experience with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot. Familiarity with Adobe InDesign. APMP Accreditation. Benefits Competitive salary with transparent salary bands.
