Whether through our Embelex platform, empowering creativity with on-product branding, or our Aftermarket solutions, optimizing apparel production and supply chains, we work together to solve complex challenges and create a more sustainable future.Our vision unites us: Together, we connect the physical and digital to solve some of the world's most complex challengesAvery Dennison is an equal-opportunity employerJob DescriptionAs a Team Leader you will:monitorand evaluate team members and adjust trainingaccordinglyAct as a positiveRole Model and Change AgentAct as liaison, representing the ApplicationService within the OrganisationAssist as needed with maintenance of all hours, overtime and vacation records and schedules.Reinforce and encourage the Avery Dennison Core Valuesand ethics.Be a SubjectMatter Expert on garment decoration and the machines used.Key responsibilities:Checking Job Orders and ensuring the right garments, transfers and artwork are all correctPassing Job Orders to the Application Team for executionManaging Garments - inbound and outbound accountabilityMaintain quality control processes to ensure that products/services meet quality standards; Lead the implementation of process improvements.Translate the objectives into the team's priorities and respond to production needs.Assist Operations Manager with production flow, staff schedule, and budget and plan resources.Be sure to follow best practices and standard operating procedures by conducting frequent business audits.Provide leadership for team-based continuous improvement projects.Make efforts to reduce manufacturing waste and process complexity.Work closely with Commercial and Production departments to schedule work and staff patternsSet and follow Maintenanceregime for all machinesEnsure all staff work within EHS guidelines set out by the Site Lead and Operations ManagerQualificationsPrevious experience in both people leadership and the garment decoration industry is desirableYou will need to be highly organised to be able to adjust workload according to customer or businesspriorityAs a global companyAvery Dennison may provide training outside of the UK so a passport and ability to travel is essential.Familiarity with ELS Operation PrinciplesHigh level of attentionto detail to follow work orders to the millimetreGood oral and written communication skills.Understanding of how to read and interpret artworkfilesGood working knowledge of spreadsheets, creating and following reporting detailsAdditional InformationAvery Dennison is an equal opportunity employer.We not only embrace change… we drive it.
