Company Landmarc provides the support services that enable Armed Forces from around the world to prepare for frontline military operations across the UK Defence Training Estate (DTE). This includes maintaining and delivering safe and sustainable infrastructure, managing and operating training areas and ranges and delivering multi‑million pound projects to improve vital training assets. About The Role Are you passionate about cloud technology and eager to make an impact? Join our Technology Operations team as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, where you’ll design, implement and manage secure, scalable and resilient solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This is a hands‑on role focused on delivering stability, security and innovation to meet the evolving needs of our business. What You’ll Do Design & Deploy: Build secure, scalable Azure infrastructure and services. Manage & Administer: Oversee Azure resources across compute, storage, networking, identity and security. Automate: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates to streamline provisioning. Monitor & Optimize: Ensure performance, availability and compliance with industry standards. Secure: Implement best practices for security, patching and vulnerability management. Migrate: Support workload transitions from on‑premises to Azure. Protect: Maintain robust disaster recovery and backup strategies. Innovate: Stay ahead of Azure advancements and drive continuous improvement. What We’re Looking For Experience: 3+ years in cloud environments, primarily Microsoft Azure. Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and ITIL v4 Foundation. Technical Skills: Azure services (VMs, Storage, Networking, AD, Key Vault, Security Center, Policy). Container platforms (AKS, RedHat OpenShift). Scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash). Networking fundamentals and cloud security principles. Soft Skills: Strong problem‑solving ability, excellent communication and a collaborative mindset. Desirable Extras Azure SQL, MongoDB, Azure Sentinel. Linux administration and hybrid workloads. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions).
