Shunter Driver (CE) Knottingley AM/PM rotating shiftsJoin to apply for the Shunter Driver (CE) Knottingley AM/PM rotating shifts role at XPOOverviewWe are recruiting for a full-time, permanent HGV Class 1 Shunter at our Knottingley site. You will work 38 hours per week on a rotation basis: 06:30-14:30 Monday to Thursday and 05:45-13:45 on Friday. Afternoon shift is 14:30-22:30 Monday to Thursday, Friday 13:45-20:30.Pay, benefits and moreHourly rate of £15.95 per hour, with overtime at £19.12 (paid for hours over 38 per week). Shift allowance £116.57 per week on the afternoon shift. Benefits include 22 days holiday, 8 bank holidays, access to high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, workplace pension, and other perks.What you’ll do on a typical dayMove trailers around the site, ensuring they are in the right place at the right time.Assist in load strapping and securing where necessary.Play a key role in the site team to ensure smooth operation; being a team player is essential.Operate in line with health and safety standards and follow site rules.What you need to succeed at XPOExperience in a similar driving/shunting role is highly desirable.A Full UK driving licence (with C&E entitlement), held for a minimum of 12 months.No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD or DR endorsements.Flexibility with working both days and afternoons to cover shifts.Be part of something big.
