Newly qualified to 3 years PQE in Family Law Strong legal aid knowledge and a passion for making a difference Proven experience in handling legal aid family law cases Excellent IT skills and ability to work with case management systems Professional, approachable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Own client following is an advantage, but not essential Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after initial training What will your role look like? Legal Aid Expertise: In-depth knowledge of family legal aid procedures is essential, including submitting applications, assessing eligibility, and delegating functions Casework: Handling a broad range of family matters, including: Divorce & Financial Remedy Proceedings Public and private children's cases Cohabitation & Pre-Nuptial Agreements Schedule I Proceedings & Emergency Injunctions TOLATA cases Client & Case Management: Excellent client care and communication skills Strong drafting and writing skills Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and meet deadlines Supporting the Team: Experience assisting senior solicitors on complex cases Billing & Financial Awareness: Experience in private fee-earning and billing is desirable What can you expect in return?
