Site Agent

OverviewThe Site Agent will be based on our Hind Street Civils project and will be the construction leader on the ground. Manages the overall day to day supervision of the construction site. He/she will monitor the preparation of the site prior to project launch and oversee the safe and efficient operation of the site throughout the construction phase.John Sisk & Son have been building excellence as a family-owned international construction company by offering trust, certainty and value to our clients whilst being at the heart of change.ResponsibilitiesParticipates in compiling the initial programme and has full awareness of weekly targetsPlans and oversees the site setup, ensuring that the appropriate facilities are in place prior to the project launchManages the relationship with the sub-contractors while working onsiteTakes ownership for ensuring that HSEQS protocols are always adhered to on sitesMaintains quality control proceduresEnsures that the Temporary Works Register (TWR) is in place and up to dateMonitors onsite energy and waste dataImplements an efficient registration system to monitor all individuals entering and leaving the siteFlags issues with Contract Management/Commercial Teams that could impact delivery (materials, works schedules, resources, H&S, cost or delivery)Drives the pace of the project and plans the work in the fieldCoordinates and prioritises the sequence of activities on siteManages a team of foremen and other site staffExperienceStrong people management experienceKnowledge of good industrial relations practicesAbility to deal with conflicting priorities and difficult stakeholders, particularly subcontractorsAbility to communicate with colleagues and clients in a warm and persuasive way, formally and informally, and adapt style to audienceCan build consensusStrong people skills and able to manage a variety of subcontractor supervisionMore than ten years’ experience working across a range of sectoral projectsExperience of leading others and delivering medium to large scale projectsQualificationsTrade or Technical backgroundIOSH or equivalent H&S management trainingTemporary Works & Excavation SafetyPermitting requirements for live energy worksWorking at Heights & ScaffoldingLifting & Cranage operationsOther HSEQS training as per site HSE planNew technology in Construction systemsUnderstanding of the BIM strategyAdditional InformationCompetitive Salary with yearly increaseCompany Car or Car AllowanceHealthcare26 days holiday (option to purchase 5 more)Employer pensionDeath in service – life assuranceCompetitive mileage rateTravel expensesFlexible and remote workingEnhanced parental leaveProfessional and Educational developmentSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustriesConstruction #J-18808-Ljbffr
