Our mission is to support vulnerable asylum seekers by providing safe, high-quality accommodation and essential services as they navigate the asylum process.We are looking for a housing officer to join our dedicated team in Dudley. This is a static role, meaning you'll be based in a specific area, ensuring that properties are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with AASC standards.What You'll Be DoingConducting monthly property inspections to ensure compliance with AASC standards.Managing on-boarding and withdrawal of properties in line with local operating procedures.Identifying and reporting property faults, ensuring they are categorised correctly for appropriate action.Performing minor property repairs, using the tools and training provided.Handling operational cash administration, such as topping up utility meters and processing emergency payments.Responding to and resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.What We're Looking ForWe value people skills just as much as property experience.
