Audit Senior – Warrington We are seeking a qualified or newly qualified Audit Senior to join our expanding team in Warrington on a full‑time basis. Salary: £36,000-£38,000 with excellent benefits and professional development opportunities. About the Role As a full‑time Audit Senior you will report directly to the Director, manage a portfolio of audit engagements, lead and review assignments, supervise junior staff, prepare statutory accounts, and build strong client relationships. The role requires a dynamic, client‑facing individual with technical expertise and a commitment to high standards. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage a portfolio of audit engagements Lead and review audit assignments to ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards Supervise and support junior members of the audit team Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies Develop and maintain strong client relationships Monitor job progress, budgets, and billing targets Ensure work is completed to a consistently high standard within agreed timeframes Utilise accounting software including IRIS, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as required Candidate Requirements Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA), or newly qualified, with a minimum of three years' experience in a practice environment Comprehensive knowledge of UK audit regulations and accounting standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels Strong commercial awareness and professional judgement Full UK driving licence Remuneration & Benefits Salary: £36,000-£38,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience Flexible working arrangements (minimum of three days in the office) 36 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays and the Christmas period) 5% employer pension contribution Option to buy or sell up to 5 days' holiday Employee assistance programme (life, legal, medical, and wellbeing support) Life assurance cover Enhanced maternity, paternity, and shared parental pay Enhanced sick pay provisions Paid volunteer leave and an annual charitable contribution on your behalf Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Accounting / Auditing Industries Accounting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Insite Group by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
