HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Willenhall, West Midlands .Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.Shifts: Monday to Friday – 07:00 AM Start Rates of Pay: £17.50 per hour (rising to £20.65 per hour after 13 weeks) Benefits • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • Immediate starts • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties • Carrying out RDC or brewery deliveries (curtain-side, no handball required) • Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations • Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured properly • Adhering to traffic laws and regulations • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management • Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required Essential Skills • Valid UK Category CE Licence • Minimum of 12 months' experience driving CE vehicles • No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes • Valid UK CPC Card and Digi Card • Good spoken and written English • Punctuality and excellent timekeeping skills • Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations • Effective communication skills Desirable Experience • Previous commercial driving experience Training Provided • Ongoing support and training throughout the assignment Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 1 Driver , apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more. xsabvtc People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.
