In this role, you will use your expertise in PLC and SCADA systems to design, develop, and support advanced control and HCI solutions for naval platform management systems.This is your chance to work on high integrity systems in a secure, highly regulated defence environment, contributing directly to operational capability and national security.ResponsibilitiesCapture and interpret customer requirementsDesign, code, and test PLC control systemsManage data communications with third party equipmentDevelop software from design documents (Block Diagrams, Flow Charts, Pseudo Code)Produce technical documentationValidate and test software designsSupport project meetings, proposals, and change controlQualifications5+ years’ PLC engineering experienceExpertise in Fault Tolerant, High Availability, and Safety Integrated PLCsStrong knowledge of Profibus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, ModBus, TCP/IP, UDP, ASCIIExperience with SCADA/PLC interfacing and driver configurationUnderstanding of software lifecycles, testing, and commissioningDegree/HNC/HND in Electrical, Electronic, C&I, or Systems EngineeringExperience in Defence, Maritime, Aerospace, or similar regulated industriesSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Quality AssuranceIndustriesDefense and Space Manufacturing and Aviation and Aerospace Component ManufacturingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Copello Global by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
