Nu was acquired by AMETEK in 2016 and is part of the SPECTRO & Nu business unit.Specific Duties And ResponsibilitiesAct as a business partner to Nu’s DVP Business Manager to manage a global businessLead annual budget process and monthly forecasts for P&L and balance sheet, including working capitalManage the monthly consolidation for the Nu business and related reporting requirements, including UK statutory requirementsEnsure conformity with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and all Corporate policiesWork closely with the corporate UK office on tax related topicsProvide support and leadership of all internal and external auditsLead process improvements in month-end processes, FP&A and complianceDrive the organization to achieve short- and long-term business objectivesAssist with ad hoc requests from the division or CorporateReport directly to the DVP BU ControllerPosition RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or ACCA a plusDeep knowledge of US GAAP and working experience in Sarbanes-OxleyMinimum 10 years in controlling and accounting experience, including as a Uk Qualified Accountant with experience in Management AccountsVery organized and strong analytical skillsAbility to meet deadlines and work under pressureStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenProficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and prior HFM experience a plusWe offer an innovative, flexible and goal-oriented environment in a market-leading multinational company that offers real opportunities for personal development and growth.
