At SLR we believe strongly in the influence of landscape architecture to shape and lead our interaction with the natural and built environment, in a way that is responsible and innovative, helping to tackle the climate emergency and set the agenda for a more sustainable way of living.
The role
Working alongside other experienced and passionate landscape architects and designers, this role offers the chance to get involved in a wide range of landscape planning, masterplanning, and design projects in our multidisciplinary team.
You would be involved in a range of projects across various sectors with a focus on the natural and built environment. These are located throughout the UK and Ireland, with a range of public and private sector clients, some moving towards implementation and some already on site, providing a depth of experience.
About us
SLR are global leaders in Sustainability Solutions, helping our clients achieve their sustainability goals. We are a consultancy with 4000+ employees across 6 regions in over 125 countries. Our ‘one team’ culture is at the heart of our business, providing a collaborative and supportive environment for professional development.
Along with competitive salaries, our staff enjoy a comprehensive benefits package with a company pension plus excellent healthcare offering, travel and life insurance and a structured career framework with regular reviews offering outstanding opportunities for progression. Alongside 25 days annual leave, with additional flexible bank holidays, we offer flexible, agile, and hybrid working which enables staff to tailor hours worked around core hours, with family-friendly policies helping to balance the needs of professional and home life.
About you
We are looking for enthusiastic Landscape Architects to join SLR’s dynamic multi-disciplined Landscape, Design and Assessment team in Edinburgh. We seek creative thinkers with strong graphic skills and a passion for placemaking within the natural and built environment. We are ideally looking for recent landscape architecture graduates (post 2022) from a registered UK Landscape Institute accredited course who are interested in working towards chartership.
When making your application please include your portfolio.
