The role acts as the internal focal point for an enterprise platform. The candidate should be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to stay updated with the latest QA & Automation testing technologies.Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with the software design team regarding verification protocolsIdentify weaknesses and target areas of software applicationsDevelop ideas for automated testing proceduresIdentify, report, and troubleshoot issuesDesign and implement software databasesAssess quality issues and generate test reportsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related fieldPrevious experience as an automation test engineerProficiency in programming, automation systems, and databasesKnowledge of scripting languages such as Java and VBScriptUnderstanding of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocolsStrong written and verbal communication skillsSkills, Knowledge, and QualificationsJava, Selenium, JMeter, PostmanPreferred Technologies and Experience- Nginx- IPv4 Networking- Software engineering languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Rust, Node.js- Test automation- Data technologies: relational and non-relational databasesPersonal Traits- Passion for technology- Initiative and self-learning- Team player with ownership and contribution to team capabilitiesCertifications (Optional but Advantageous)AWS Certified Cloud PractitionerAWS Certified DevOps Engineer – ProfessionalSun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) for J2SE 6.0Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD)ITILv3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service ManagementRole and LocationRole: QA & Automation Test EngineerLocation: Slough, Berkshire, UKSalary Range£40,000 to £50,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr
