This is a brand new role which has been created due to significant growth which has been achieved organically and through multiple acquisitions.Working within a friendly team, the new Management Accountant will have the opportunity to add value through enhancing existing systems and processes whilst remaining hands on with month end activity in a diverse role.This is an ideal role for a fully fledged Management Accountant, or an ambitious Assistant Accountant seeking a diverse role with more month end input. Opportunities for career progression will be available as the business continues to grow.Key Benefits/ Rewards on OfferStudy package if requiredFlexibility on working hours, start between 8am-9am and finish between 4pm-5pmHybrid working arrangements – 3 days in office and 2 at homeOngoing training and development with career advancement opportunities25 days annual leave entitlement + bank holidaysYour New Role as Management AccountantReporting to an experienced Financial Controller, as Management Accountant duties will include:Preparing month end management accounts with commentary and analysisSupporting with year end accounting process including auditPreparation of budgets and forecastsMentoring and supporting junior members of the finance team as requiredInvolvement in ad hoc projects relating to growth, acquisition and continual improvementsExperience & Qualifications Required to ApplyThe ideal candidate will be a forward thinker with good exposure to month end/management accounting processes. Strong Excel skills are required with the ability to review and improve financial processes and procedures.
