About the Role As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalised education to students with complex learning needs, including autism and challenging behaviours. You will be instrumental in shaping a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes growth, engagement, and success for each young person. Your Responsibilities Plan, deliver and assess lessons tailored to individual student needs. Develop and implement EHCPs and Behaviour Support Plans. Collaborate with Learning Support Assistants, therapists, and care staff to ensure a consistent, multi-professional approach. Foster a safe, respectful and nurturing classroom environment. Communicate regularly with families, carers, and external professionals. Promote students' social, emotional, and academic development in line with the School Development Plan and regulatory standards. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching students with SEND, particularly autism and/or SEMH Strong classroom management and organisational skills A compassionate, empathetic, and student-centred approach Excellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAbility to adapt teaching to suit individual learning styles and EHCP targets A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare Why Join This School?
