This role is vital in ensuring that our children receive high-quality care and supervision during lunchtime, allowing them to enjoy their meals in a safe and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist children during lunchtime, ensuring they are well-fed and comfortableSupervise and engage children in lunchtime activities, maintaining a positive atmosphereSupport the meal preparation and clear-up process alongside kitchen staffMaintain a healthy and safe environment for children, following all safeguarding policiesBuild positive relationships with children, thus enhancing their social skills and interactionsCommunicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding their children's lunchtime experienceWork closely with other staff members during lunch cover shifts to ensure continuity of careRequirementsRequirements:Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalentExperience working with young children, preferably in a nursery or childcare settingStrong knowledge of child development and best practices in early years educationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamPassionate about promoting a positive, safe, and engaging environment for childrenDBS check and right to work in the UKBenefitsBupa Employee Assistance.
