About the RoleAs a Store Manager you run your own store with an entrepreneurial spirit, prioritising customers, colleagues and the local community. You will lead your team to create the best customer experience, improve commercial performance, and ensure a great workplace for staff.ResponsibilitiesLead a team to create a culture that delivers the best customer experience in line with the Morrisons brand.Manage commercial performance, treating the store as your own business and seeking ways to improve the offering.Oversee all people activities including recruitment, induction, training and development, building an inclusive culture where everyone is empowered to deliver great customer service.Build and manage local community relationships and support the local community.About YouPassion for spotting, developing and coaching talent.Ability to motivate and inspire a team to create a successful culture.Strong influence skills, listening and understanding other perspectives to inspire new ways of doing things.Hands‑on attitude, willing to roll up sleeves and support the team in delivering store objectives.High level of resilience and problem‑solving ability.Prior experience in fast‑paced, service‑focused environments such as retail, convenience or hospitality is desirable.Benefits15% discount in Morrisons Daily and Morrisons Supermarket stores.Contributory Pension.28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays).Access to Health & Wellbeing support.About UsMorrisons acquired the McColl’s business in 2022.
