Role: Graduate Site Manager

Location: Aberdeen

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 (dependant on Grade achieved and relevant industry experience)

Your new role

About the role:

Our Graduate opportunities could take you to any of our UK sites, where you'll find out what we do and how we do it, contribute to projects, and grow your knowledge, network and responsibilities. In addition, we will support you through your 2-year Graduate Programme to develop and progress in your chosen career path. As a Graduate Site Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Producing short-term weekly programmes for your section and subordinates' section in line with overall contract programme requirements.
  • Ensuring accurate daily records (diaries, labour and material returns) are kept.
  • Liaising with team members on a daily basis.
  • Encouraging and developing others to succeed in their roles.
  • Producing record sheets/change notes or similar to assist Site Manager/Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor.
  • Ensuring materials, plant, and equipment are ordered and controlled in line with the project specific prelims and bills of quantities.
  • Monitoring the requirements of the Group's Health and Safety procedures and maintaining safety records for all work activities under your control.
  • Correctly interpreting drawing information to enable accurate setting out.

What we need from you:

You should be degree educated or due to graduate in the summer of 2025 (2:1 desirable) in a relevant subject. You should be focused and highly motivated, with excellent planning/prioritising and time-management skills. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders, as well as the ability to cope under pressure.
