The Role A Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer will maintain, install, and refurbish fabric and equipment across the GBS UK estates portfolio. They will monitor building conditions, carry out repairs and renovations, and support Estates and Facilities in refurbishment planning. The role may require travel to other campuses and demands flexible working to accommodate business operations. Working 40‑hour week, covering campus operating hours Monday to Sunday, 7:00‑9:30pm and occasional out‑of‑hours work. What The Role Involves Preventative and Reactive Maintenance Building and Equipment Maintenance Health, Safety, and Compliance Documentation and Inventory Management Refurbishment and Fit‑Out Projects Travel and Flexibility Experience And Skills Required 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification City & Guilds Level 2 and/or Level 3 in Electrical Installations, or equivalent NVQ, or demonstrable experience to the same standard. Previous experience in building maintenance including M&E systems. Manual skills, knowledge of refurbishment techniques. A flexible and proactive “can‑do” attitude. Familiarity with COSHH requirements for equipment and chemicals. Interpersonal skill and ability to work autonomously and as part of the facilities wider team. Full, Clean Driving Licence.
