We are looking for a Deputy Manager for a busy children’s home that provides 24‑hour care within Children’s Residential Services. You will be working in a Children’s Home caring for young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs, and supporting the staff team alongside the Registered Manager. 36 Hours a week, with on call duties, as part working rota that covers, evenings, weekend, Bank Holidays and UK holidays **About You** It is important that you have a passion for working with young people and supporting young people to reach their potential as well as, leading, supporting and developing the staff team. Are you: Playful, Accepting, Curious and Empathetic Warm, approachable, and filled with positivity A team player and dynamic problem solver Creative, enthusiastic, and forward thinking Passionate about improving the lives of young people Able to motivate young people and a staff team Organised, reliable, and confident in leading a team Previous experience in a similar role NVQ level 5 (or willing to work towards this) Whilst qualification to Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services is an advantage, we accept and encourage applications from candidates who do not hold this qualification. We will support you to complete the qualification on starting in the role.
