Job summary We have an exciting opportunity for a Ward Manager on Tyne Mental Health Ward. Tyne Mental Health Ward is a Low Secure Ward within the Secure Care CBU based at Northgate Park in Morpeth. The service is for men over the age of 18 years with a mental illness who require assessment and treatment in hospital. Main duties of the job A Ward Manager has a crucial role encompassing clinical leadership, staff management and operational oversight. They are responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, and managing resources effectively. You will work be offering effective leadership and day to day management of the team. As the Ward Manager you will have day to day management of the team which includes recruitment of staff, conducting appraisals, managing performance and supporting the health and well-being of employees. The Clinical Manager will be available to offer regular guidance and support throughout.
