You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.This special hospital offers a comprehensive inpatient specialist mental health service for young people and adults. The service is dedicated to providing innovative, high quality care and treatment for patients with challenging and complex needs, in order to enable their recovery and re-engagement with the community.To be considered for this role you must be qualified as an RGN or RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin ResponsibilitiesBe part of a large multi-disciplinary team providing safe and effective care for individuals with complex mental illnessObserve/respond to patient behaviours on the ward which may include self harm and acts of aggressionFormulate risk assessments and care plans to meet individual needsMedication managementAct as shift co-ordinator, allocating staff and having the ability to oversee the work of junior staff and colleaguesMaintain the safety of patients and staffEnsure good quality of patient documentation which meets regulatory guidance and statutory requirementsWork within the NMC Code of Conduct and practice guidelines Skills and ExperienceAble to show empathy and warmthAbility to write care plans and carry out observationsTo use own initiativeCarry out general nursing tasksHave a positive and can do attitude Salary and BenefitsThe successful Nurse will be offered an excellent annual salary of £36,291 - £38,716.08 per annum DOE.
