Senior Fire Risk Assessor Join Ridge and Partners LLP as a Senior Fire Risk Assessor. The role can be based in any of our offices. Overview We are a built environment consultancy helping clients transform the quality and sustainability of the built environment. We value great people who are inspired and proud of what they do. What You’ll Do Conduct site-based fire risk assessments in industrial, commercial and residential sectors within specified timeframes. Communicate regularly with clients to coordinate inspection schedules and remedial works. Ensure buildings meet the latest fire‑related building regulations and technical standards. Prepare schedules of work, specifications, estimates, and monitor progress on site, ensuring compliance with specifications. Provide advice related to Building Regulations approvals on fire matters. Authorise and sign off Fire Risk Assessments before submission to clients. Conduct annual internal audits of Fire Risk Assessors. Requirements Full knowledge of current fire safety legislation, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order and technical standards. Demonstrable experience in a similar role. Minimum Level 4 qualification in fire risk management, Level 5 qualification in fire risk assessment or fire engineering. IFE‑approved fire risk assessment course completion. Registered on the national register of Fire Risk Assessors (via IFE, FRACS or IFSM Tier 3). Experience as a Validator under the BAFE SP205‑1 Scheme. Valid driving licence.
