OverviewICON Payment Framework (IPF) Developer – JavaContract until 31/12/2025 • Up to £460/day (Inside IR35) • Location: Knutsford (Hybrid 2 days p/w) • BPSS Clearance RequiredWhat You'll DoAs an IPF Developer, you will work at the heart of the bank’s payment processing transformation, developing and maintaining solutions on the Finastra ICON platform, ensuring resilience, compliance, and regulatory readiness across all integrations.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop payment solutions using ICON Payment Framework (IPF) and JavaIntegrate with critical systems – from core banking to SWIFT, SEPA, FPS, and AMLExecute unit/integration tests and support UAT and production deploymentCollaborate with Architects, Analysts, QA, and DevOps in a fast-paced Agile environmentEnsure delivery aligns with regulatory standards such as PSD2 and ISO 20022What You Bring5+ years of Java development experience in financial services2+ years of hands-on work with Finastra ICON/IPFDeep understanding of payment flows and industry messaging standards (SWIFT, SEPA, CHAPS, etc.)Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, JMS, Oracle/SQLStrong grasp of Agile, CI/CD, Git, and JIRANice to HaveKnowledge of Finastra GPP or other payment hubsCloud-native experience (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)Familiarity with DevOps and automated testing toolsBackground in corporate payments or transaction bankingJob DetailsSeniority level: Not ApplicableEmployment type: ContractJob function: Information TechnologyIndustries: Technology, Information and Media #J-18808-Ljbffr
