SEMH Teacher – Part-time, one half day per week, long-term temporary and ongoing, starting as soon as possible This is an exciting opportunity to join a school where leaders have created a nurturing and inclusive environment that prioritises pupils’ personal development and well-being. Staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils feel safe and supported, while providing a curriculum that promotes independence and life skills. The school is committed to enrichment opportunities that help pupils thrive both academically and socially. Duties as SEMH Teacher: Deliver tailored lessons focused on life skills, independence, and enrichment activities Plan and implement strategies to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment Monitor and report on pupil progress and well-being Work collaboratively with support staff and external professionals Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times Ideal SEMH Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting Strong understanding of behaviour management and personalised learning strategies Ability to adapt teaching to promote independence and confidence Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one Your salary - dependent on experience - is paid weekly through PAYE – that means no self-employed or umbrella companies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
