This will include: -Managing a patient caseloadClose liaison with medical consultantsOrdering diagnostic tests within agreed parametersRunning nurse-led clinicsWork autonomously whilst providing clinical leadership, ensuring all patients have an accurate plan of care, which reflects the assessment undertaken and incorporates the issues and recommendations made ensuring clear documentation in the patients recordsDemonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in intravenous access, the management of central venous catheters, venepuncture, and chemotherapy delivery, including the management of anaphylaxis and extravasationQualifications and Knowledge:NMC Registered NurseUKONS SACT Passport or to be completed within three months of appointmentFor this role you will need to be fully trained and qualified in venepuncture and cannulations and have experience of working with different types of central venous access devicesUKONs trained and experience in oncology telephone triage.
