Network Operational Specialist We are looking for a Network Operational Specialist to work in Lower Brighouse and surrounding areas, based at our depot at Lower Brighouse with occasional attendance at our head office (BD6) or Leeds from Summer 2026. Location: Lower Brighouse depot, occasional head office meetings. Working type: Permanent, 37 hours per week, rotational pattern, including out‑of‑hours standby. We protect the environment, support communities and plan for the future through innovative water management. Key responsibilities: Provide technical support for safe operation of fleet and equipment, including jetting, CCTV, Recycler/Vactor and sewer investigations. Review RAMS for all works on the gravity sewer network. Offer guidance to Wastewater teams and support incident management for pollution/flooding. Advise on safe operation and restoration of sewer network failures. Assist Operational Delivery Manager with escape review, validate technical and financial aspects of follow‑on work. Drive improvements with the operational contracts team to reduce remedial activity and improve work quality. Manage CSO asset base and coordinate maintenance plans with central control and CSO teams. Requirements: Technical knowledge of sewer systems, network performance and assets; basic sewage treatment works understanding. Experience with high‑pressure jetting equipment and relevant accreditation. Customer‑service experience with face‑to‑face communication. Ability to manage workloads and intervene quickly to mitigate risks. Strong Health & Safety background and experience in H&S management processes. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and company systems such as SAP. Full, valid driving licence (no more than 6 points). Work environment 24‑hour operations require flexible working patterns, job‑share options where possible and travel across the region. Application Closing Date: 31 December 2025.
