Accu is looking for a driven and imaginative SEO/Marketing Copywriting Specialist to join our marketing team.This is an exceptional opportunity to jumpstart your career, playing a pivotal role in onboarding innovative engineering products and writing top-quality engineering content to widen Accu\'s reach to engineers and innovators. You\'ll be instrumental in shaping how engineers are introduced to Accu through compelling written content that ranks well, engaging product descriptions and gripping scripts for video guides. Key Responsibilities Create compelling content that establishes Accu as an expert in the engineering/procurement/supply chain space and helps drive more targeted organic traffic to Accu, including articles, case studies, technical guides & new product launches. Formulate search engine optimised descriptions for our range of engineering components, working closely with other teams on joint projects, including: Engaging with our Engineering department on technical specifications and product understanding. Working with the Merchandising team to inform optimal product & category names, identifying opportunities to target the right audiences. Collaborating on marketing team projects, including: Brainstorming, refining & developing new creative ideas for campaigns. Writing storyboards & scripts for video content and ad creatives e.g. YouTube Ads, TikToks & Instagram Reels. Generating images to go alongside articles/guides that help the visual readability of content. What We're Looking For Experience blogging and/or writing marketing copy that clearly communicates a product\'s benefits and unique selling proposition. SEO fundamentals - a basic understanding of how web pages rank and how to apply this to projects you have undertaken. Google Search Console and other SEO tools that capture data to help plan content production to grow organic website traffic. Experience editing technical documentation & articles written by others. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Interest in engineering/manufacturing and a curiosity in how things work. Bonus Points For Graphic design fundamentals if you have a keen eye for shapes, images, colour, typography and layout fantastic. If not, we\'ll help you develop these skills. Photography skills for complementary static social content. Any experience within an engineering, manufacturing, or B2B environment (academic projects count). Fluency in a foreign language (i.e. German/French/Polish) would be a positive. Technical Skills We Use We use G-Suite to collaborate - its an online version of MS Office. Google Search Console and GA4. SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog. Google Sheets/Excel - important for crunching data and seeing what\'s working and what\'s not.
